Of course, not every trade will be a winner – we need to be prepared for losses along the way, and Bread and Butter Trader can work with you to manage risk.
I recommend risking about 0.5% of your trading fund on any position. So, if you’ve got £5,000 in your account, that’d be a risk of £25. But the Bread and Butter Trader software can automatically reduce that risk to 0% as your trade moves into profit.
The result is a system that maximizes the profits on winning trades, and minimizes the downside of losing trades – and you barely have to lift a finger!
The potential profit on a £25 risk would be between £25 and £50. That may not sound like a lot, but remember, there are lots of these trading opportunities, and we want to be dipping into the best ones at times that suit us during the day. By trading this way, it’s possible to grow your fund steadily, while keeping a firm control on your risk levels.
